Multinantional world leading company distributing special equipment for the visual art industry. This job is responsible for the overall Finance and administrative management and control for the company's operations located in Mexico and coordinate the ones of Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. While the role reports through the company's global Finance organization, the day to day interaction and support provided to the local management teams is a key focus. The main responsibilities of the position are: Manages all aspects of the accounting, ensuring all accounting processes are in compliance with local laws and group polices. This includes overseeing the services provided by other local advisors. · Ensures provision of timely and accurate consolidated financial information (monthly, quarterly, annual processes) to Group Finance in accordance with the Mexican and Company's GAAP and coordinates timely responses to queries. · Manages all aspects of internal and external financial audits, including overseeing the preparation and filing of the annual statutory accounts in accordance with local regulations. · Maintains and develops effective systems of internal accounting controls including the documentation of those controls, to ensure that: all financial information is accurate and adequately supported. · Prepares and leads the development of the annual budget, trend and quarterly forecasts in a consolidation basis. In all cases, ensuring appropriate follow up / resolution of queries following management reviews. · Compliance, including Tax and Transfer Pricing - Ensures that proper policies, processes and procedures are in place to comply with rules and regulations relating to Finance, including tax structure, tax processes and transfer pricing. Communicates and works closely with outsourcing tax professionals to develop and implement tax planning strategies. Ensures effective and efficient Administration and compliance with transfer pricing policies. · Treasury / Financing - to ensure that appropriate credit / financing facilities are in place to Finance the Mexican operations and to ensure the securing and safeguard in the other countries. · Direct Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely billing and sufficient cash flow for the region · Personnel: Manages and control all aspects related to personnel. Monitor payroll and travel expenditures of the region · Financial Systems - Ensures that adequate computerized financial systems are in place and operating effectively in order to properly process, account for, and report financial position and results of operations. · Participates in special projects as required, either in support of local business initiatives or as lead representative for authorization of credits for possible clients. Education: Degree in Accounting of Finance. Master Degree is a big plus. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in multinational. 3 -5 Years in a similar position. Management skills. Experience in Public Accounting in a "big four" is a big plus. Experience with other Latin America countries. Languages: English ?
